Geosynthetic Clay Liners (GCLs)

Geosynthetic Clay Liners (GCLs)

Geoguard Geosynthetic Clay Liners are high-performance needle punched environmental reinforced composites that combine two durable geotextile outer layers with a uniform core of natural sodium bentonite clay to form a hydraulic barrier. For different projects, it can combine HDPE liner for better waterproof.

Function: When hydrated under a confining load, the bentonite swells to form a low permeability clay layer with the equivalent hydraulic protection of several feet of compacted clay. The excellent properties of tensile and peel strength make the products ideal for many projects.

Application: Geosynthetic Clay Liners are widely used in waste landfill capping and cutoff walls to contain pollution, mining base seals, canal and dam liners, lakes, and other waterproofing projects.

With bentonite particles and corresponding admixture mixed as raw material, through the acupuncture technology and equipment, fixed bentonite particles between geotextile and plastic woven cloth and blanket made of waterproofing materials.
